The newest yachts in world waters

A hotel, casino, tennis court, several swimming pools, artificial beach, helipad, bars, and even a Formula 1 racetrack. Anyone would think we were talking about the Principality of Monaco. But no! This is the ambitious project launched by Yacht Island Design: "The Streets of Monaco," a 155-meter mega yacht whose deck replicates the luxury of the small city-state, reports Forbes.

This boat, which features a 1,460-square-meter cabin reserved for the owner, costs $800 million, $300 million more than the mega-yacht that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos built for his own use and enjoyment.

The businessman is a passionate sailor, and his yacht, the „Flying Fox,“ is a prime example of this. His passion for the sea knows no bounds, which is why he has decided to go all out: a boat that is still under construction and will be one of the most expensive in history.

The world's second-largest ship is owned by the founder of Amazon. The richest person on the planet has commissioned the Dutch shipbuilder „Oceanco“ to build his new yacht at a cost of $500 million.

This project was kept under wraps until May of last year, when Brad Stone’s book *Amazon Unbound: Jeff Bezos and the Invention of a Global Empire* was published, published by Bloomberg, which describes the ship in detail.

The yacht, which the shipyard has been building over the past few years, is 127 meters long and has three masts that span the entire deck, so the businessman was able to order another yacht for support, which has a helicopter pad installed.

Billionaires are creating authentic floating cities that reflect power and glamour. An example of this are these two boats, which, once completed, will immediately enter the top 5 of the world’s yachts, currently consisting of the following vessels:

1. „History Supreme“: Small but mighty

The King of the Seas, a vessel that looks more like a piece of jewelry or a museum exhibit than a ship, is the „History Supreme.“ Covered in solid gold and platinum, its estimated value is 2.4 billion euros, and although it is not known for certain, it is believed that since 2018 its owner has been Robert Quok, the richest person in Malaysia.

By the British designer Stuart Hughes It took three years to build this marvel, which is only 30 meters long; the precious metals used in its construction make it the most expensive in the world.

Inside, you can see everything from a giant golden aquarium to bottles of diamond-infused alcohol, a wall made of Tyrannosaurus rex bones in one of the bedrooms, and meteorite rocks. Because it’s the details that make the difference.

2. Blackout, cause unknown

„The “Eclipse,” which topped the list of the world’s most expensive yachts for many years, is 170 meters long and valued at 800 million euros. And it’s worth every penny. It features a submarine, a missile defense system, zero-speed stabilizers for greater comfort in rough waters, three tenders, two helicopters, a master suite—with a retractable roof—and 18 guest suites, two swimming pools, several hot tubs, a disco and sauna, a movie theater, and a fitness center.

Its owner, a Russian multimillionaire with dual Israeli citizenship Roman Abramovich, and guests can enjoy the utmost privacy, as this boat is reportedly equipped with an anti-paparazzi system: a shield based on a laser system that blocks the lenses of nearby cameras.

3. „Azzam,“ the enigmatic

Although its interior remains a mystery—all that is known is that it contains a large main hall of about thirty square meters—its value and the name of its owner are known. It belongs to a sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, with an estimated net worth of 600 million euros.

In 2013, the German shipyard Lürssen Yachts unveiled this 180-meter-long vessel, which can reach a maximum cruising speed of 32 knots and navigate in shallow waters, featuring a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure.

It features a helipad and an indoor pool, and its seven decks are divided into 48 cabins, 18 of which are for guests and 30 for the crew.

4. „Serene and Leonardo da Vinci“

Valued at approximately 485 million euros, the „Serene“ holds a great treasure within: „Salvator Mundi“ by Leonardo da Vinci, considered the most expensive painting in the world.

One of the most impressive features of this boat, owned by Mohammed bin Salman, a prince of Saudi Arabia, is that it features a master suite with a fireplace and underwater views. It also features an indoor pool, two helipads, a hangar for storing the helicopter, and a garage for the cars.

5. „TOPAZ“

The billionaire Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family, is the owner of „Topaz,“ a mega-yacht worth over 460 million euros and measuring 147 square meters in length.

Inside, there is a garage filled with jet skis, mini-submarines, catamarans, inflatable boats, sea beans, and surfboards. It also features two helicopters, a fitness center, a conference room, a movie theater, and two hot tubs at the stern. Its eight decks are connected by an elevator, and the 26 apartments are distributed among them.
